Travel to MedtecLIVE with T4M by train, car and aeroplane
Situated between the airport and the motorway, our convention centre and trade fair grounds offer ideal conditions for arrival and departure. Direct links to the A8 motorway, the B27 federal highway, the airport, the urban railway (S-Bahn) station and local public transport mean that visitors have just a pleasant few minutes’ walk to the grounds.
You can read how to get to the exhibition venue comfortably in each case here.
Travellers to trade fairs and conferences benefit from Stuttgart’s integration in the high-speed ICE network. There are direct connections to and from many national and international destinations. The journey from Paris or Zurich to Baden-Württemberg’s capital takes just three hours.
Your way from the main station to the fair
27 minutes without changing trains: The fastest connection between Stuttgart’s main station and the trade fair is provided by two urban railway (S-Bahn) lines, which run almost around the clock. The Messe stop is only 200 m from the entrance. A new tram network connection will offer even more options in the future.

In addition, you can arrive by bus at the Stuttgart Airport Bus Terminal for regional and long-distance busses.
Taxi and sharing services
You can find taxi ranks, as well as VIP and shuttle bus access right in front of the entrances to the trade fair and the ICS.
If you want to create your own made-to-measure travel solution, you can choose from a wide range of car-sharing providers and rental bikes on site.
Quick, convenient travel
The A8 motorway (east-west connection) runs right alongside the trade fair grounds. Multiple exits make for rapid arrivals and departures. After a short drive, travelers also have access to the north-south axis of the A81.
Stuttgart city is an environmental zone. Only vehicles displaying a green sticker are permitted within this zone. Because Messe Stuttgart is outside the city precincts, you do not need an environmental sticker when you visit a trade fair or conference. If you plan to visit the city afterwards or stay in the city overnight, you will require an emissions sticker for your vehicle.
Dynamic traffic and parking guidance system
6,700 parking spaces are available directly at the trade fair grounds. What’s more, the adjoining airport car parks can be used.
