MEDPETG‑EF – The sustainable PETG film for medical packaging
The punching grids and edge strips produced during blister and film production are processed into regranulate. This is extruded into the middle layer of the MEDPETG‑EF film – for new blister packaging with a reduced CO₂ footprint.
MEDPETG-EF is an innovative, sustainable PETG film for medical packaging. The outer layers consist of 100% virgin material, while the middle layer consists of at least 50% regranulate from production residues. This reduces the CO₂ footprint and closes the material cycle. The film offers high transparency, excellent formability, and is manufactured in a resource-efficient manner. Thanks to the special layer structure, product protection remains optimal while ecological and economic advantages are realized.
