Expanding expertise in pharmaceutical process automation—new ampoule packaging line
The demands placed on pharmaceutical packaging are increasing: processes need to scale faster, traceability must be seamless—and everything must function reliably in a regulated environment.
This is precisely where Früh Verpackungstechnik AG comes in, expanding its expertise in pharmaceutical automation with a new, fully automated packaging line for ampoules.
For customers in the life sciences sector, this means one thing above all else: greater planning reliability, higher efficiency, and scalable processes—without compromising on product protection and traceability.
The line handles the packaging process fully automatically, including cartoning in two package sizes. The setup is complemented by tamper evidence, serialization, and aggregation. The result is a packaging solution that reduces manual effort, stabilizes processes, and supports a resilient data chain along the supply chain.
Parallel to the line, the infrastructure was also expanded: a new production room measuring almost 400 m² was prepared specifically for the project and made available “just in time” for installation and commissioning. The advantage: short transitions between construction, installation, and the next project phases.
The next steps are commissioning, SAT (Site Acceptance Test), and qualification runs. Früh combines technology and process expertise with structured project management – for reliable implementation in demanding pharmaceutical projects.
