Developments in PCB Technology for Future Medical Electronics
The miniaturization of medical devices is creating new requirements for printed circuit board technology. Implantable systems, wearable biosensors, and minimally invasive diagnostic devices require highly integrated, biocompatible, and reliable solutions.
The presentation highlights current developments in high‑density structures, ultra‑thin substrates, and flexible printed circuit boards for applications with limited installation space. In addition, biocompatible materials and strategies for ensuring long‑term reliability under physiological conditions are presented, including aging tests and protection against moisture and mechanical stress.
