Ultrashort Pulse Laser High‑Light
With the High‑Light UKP, we are opening a new era of connected laser processing: thanks to smart software solutions and flexible integration options, the laser integrates seamlessly into any production environment.
The new Schilling Ultrashort Pulse Laser High‑Light UKP lives up to its name: as a next‑generation ultrashort pulse laser, it sets new standards in precision, flexibility, and user comfort. Despite its compact footprint, the High‑Light UKP offers an impressively large marking field of 570 × 270 mm.
The High‑Light UKP comes equipped with three automatic axes as standard. The software‑controlled Z‑axis enables fast and precise focusing. The laser head moves automatically along the X‑axis, while the perforated plate travels along the Y‑axis. An optional rotary axis can be added—ideal for marking cylindrical components. An integrated, individually switchable cabin light ensures optimal visibility during setup.
A multi‑color LED status bar on the outside of the cabin (red/yellow/green) provides clear visual communication of the machine state. It also serves as a progress indicator: during the marking process, the bar fills up, allowing operators to track progress at a glance. An integrated front‑mounted touch display complements the control elements and enhances intuitive operation.
Programming is carried out using our in‑house AnyMarker Designer software. Together with the standard integrated InSight camera module, the operator always has a live view of the workpiece. Using AnyMarker InSight, marking content can be easily positioned directly on the product via drag‑and‑drop—providing a visual preview of the final result and eliminating the need for time‑consuming alignment using a red positioning laser.
The High‑Light UKP is rounded off by its intelligent, ergonomic design: it can be operated both sitting and standing, and it can also be fully automated—e.g., loaded by a robot. This makes it perfectly suited for modern, efficient, and highly precise laser marking processes.
