Pharma packaging is more than just "packing": it is about process-reliable automation, traceable data flows, and validatable sequences. Früh Verpackungstechnik AG is currently implementing a project for the fully automated packaging of ampoules, including cartoning, tamper evidence, as well as serialization and aggregation.
Integration in a Regulated Environment
The project started in October 2024. Predictability and speed were the focus, without losing sight of quality and compliance. This allowed follow-up processes, resources, and timings to be set up early – a decisive factor when introducing new lines.
Automation that Thinks Ahead
At the center is a fully automated packaging process including cartoning in two different pack sizes. The process is supplemented by central pharmaceutical functions:
- Tamper Evidence
- Serialization
- Aggregation
This creates a traceable, flexible packaging solution that simultaneously reduces manual effort. For pharmaceutical customers, this means: robust processes and clear data chains.
Infrastructure "Just in Time"
Parallel to the line, a new production room of nearly 400 m² was completed on schedule. Thanks to pre-built room solutions, there is no idle time between construction completion and system installation.
