Outsourcing as a success strategy in medical technology

"Numerous innovations in medical technology as well as analytics, biotechnology and laboratory technology have shown in recent years that integrating external partners into the production chain and turning away from the usual work in so-called closed organizational units and switching to flexible, customer-centered value creation structures enables faster success.

As a result, manufacturers are increasingly focusing their own resources on research and development at the beginning and on marketing products at the end of the value chain.  Consequently, the manufacture of technical products, devices, and systems, and in some cases even development, is increasingly being outsourced to strategic partners such as JÜKE, which have specific technological and production expertise and the corresponding infrastructure."
