With a comprehensive programme, the medical technology exhibition MedtecLIVE with T4M and the MedtecSUMMIT congress invite you to Nuremberg from 23-25 May 2023. On three exhibition days, dialogue, knowledge exchange, and networking are in the spotlight. The focus is on the entire value chain of medical technology. The topics range from regulation, IT and software, and new manufacturing processes to transformation, successful market entry for companies that want to benefit from the huge growth potential.
The international MedtecSUMMIT congress accompanies the exhibition and has established itself as an important knowledge and trend platform for the industry. The lecture programme includes practically relevant and scientific contributions with over 60 speakers on the trend topics of digitalisation, artificial intelligence, robotics as well as sustainability and regulation. Parallel to this, B2B networking will take place, enabling efficient exchange at eye level. Appointments can be made in advance with participants from all over Europe. Other programme highlights of MedtecLIVE with T4M include the IndustrialSUMMIT with numerous best practice presentations, a number of guided tours on various key topics, different interactive Medical World Cafés, the production line, and the start-up pitch.

In the IndustrialSUMMIT, trend topics of the industry such as manufacturing, construction, electronics as well as regulation will be discussed with the support of renowned exhibitors. Here, visitors will learn everything about the latest developments and technologies in medical technology production. In addition, industry experts will take participants on guided tours to interesting exhibitors onsite to get to know solutions and applications in a practical and interactive way. The Medical World Café format ensures a lively exchange and development of ideas. Here, all participants are invited to actively participate in discussions on the topics or even to contribute their own questions and discuss them with experts and like-minded people.
Experience medical technology up close
The production line at MedtecLIVE allows visitors to experience the manufacturing process in medical technology up close and live. The supporting exhibitors are experts in their field and the production step they exemplify in the special show. "The special area shows the process from raw material to packaging. The production line makes medical technology tangible and understandable – that's what makes our exhibition special," says Christopher Boss, Executive Director of MedtecLIVE.
Stage for innovative start-ups in the industry
It will be particularly exciting for start-ups at the exhibition: In addition to the Innovation made in Germany joint stand and the Start-up Area, ten start-ups have qualified for the MedtecLIVE start-up pitch competition. One of the sponsors, EIT Health, is providing a total of 15,000 euros in prize money to support innovative ideas and projects from the industry
"Shaping the healthy future together"
A piece of history will be written at MedtecLIVE. Since March 2023, the working groups of the state society BIOPRO Baden-Württemberg, the network BIOVOX connect, and Forum MedTech Pharma have been jointly committed to sustainable medical technology. On 24 May at 11:00 a.m., the three parties will sign an official Memorandum of Understanding at the exhibition to officially establish the "Alliance for Sustainable Medical Technology". The alliance strengthens cooperation between the organisations and promotes the development of sustainable solutions in medical technology.

The online platform talque connects what happens at the exhibition onsite with the digital world and enables visitors to find exhibitors and products or make appointments to exchange ideas onsite. MedtecLIVE with T4M: The entire manufacturing process of medical technology – from the idea to production
At MedtecLIVE with T4M product developers and buyers from distributors and OEMs will meet the most important suppliers of medical technology in Europe. The event is held annually, alternating between the two medical technology locations of Nuremberg and Stuttgart, and covers the entire value chain with its range of offerings. The exhibition is accompanied by a comprehensive supporting program, which covers the most important topics and trends in the industry.
