For over 50 years, the WEFA Group has been a global leader in the development of CVD-coated extrusion dies (CED®) for the HVAC and automotive sectors.
In 2020, we expanded our portfolio to include the manufacturing of medical technology components in accordance with EN ISO 13485.
Today, WEFA MedTec serves as a strategic partner for legal manufacturers, offering tailored solutions for manufacturing partnerships at the highest technological and regulatory standards. Together with our long-standing partners INGWERK and FORMING, spin-offs of the Extrusion Research Center at TU Berlin (Forschungszentrum Strangpressen), we develop customized semi-finished product solutions from established and forward-looking MedTech materials, with a current focus on the production and further processing of titanium, magnesium, and zinc alloys.
