LINAK supplies manufacturers of medical devices with electric actuator systems, among other things. The products are used in hospital beds, patient lifts, operating tables, X-ray equipment, treatment tables and numerous other medical applications. LINAK products are used wherever smooth, low-noise, linear motion is required. LINAK is a system supplier; in addition to electric linear actuators and lifting columns, it produces control units, operating elements and other accessories such as rechargeable batteries. Everything from a single source, everything compatible. The products offer an increasing number of useful functions - many of them software-controlled, e.g. a service data tool, out-of-bed sensors or products that can be operated via wireless. The systems are equipped with the various protection classes to provide the best possible support for medical device manufacturers on the way to the required approvals. Some products, for example, have the addition IPX6 washable DURA. This means that the products can withstand 5 times more than required by the EC-60601 standard (instead of 50 wash cycles 250). Safety is the be-all and end-all for medical devices, which is why safety mechanisms are standard in numerous drive types, such as the slip clutch, safety nut or quick release.
