The ITVP combines the highest quality and great expertise with state-of-the-art technology. We are EN ISO 13485 certified and develop and produce mainly textile-based medical implants. The depth of production and development ranges from the molecule to the almost final medical product.
ITVP was founded in 2001 as a subsidiary of the German Institutes for Textile and Fibre Research (DITF), Europe's largest textile research centre. Over 40 employees work on a production area of approx. 2,000 m² and clean room areas of 1,200 m². With passion and over 30 years of expertise, we develop and produce medical, mostly textile-based implants and their pre-products.
Our expertise lies in the production of medical implants and their pre-products – along the entire development and production chain. Starting from the polymer via mono- and multifilament threads (yarns) to the final product in the form of textile structures, sheets, membranes and nonwovens.
