Innovative medical products - from raw material to final product

High-quality products developed by ITVP on behalf of medical device manufacturers and produced in OEM manufacturing are used worldwide, for example as surgical sutures, meshes or tapes, vascular prostheses and as stents for the trachea and oesophagus. The ISO 13485-certified development and manufacture of medical devices takes place in our ISO 8 class clean rooms. The medical devices are not approved by ITVP, but by the commissioning customer.

We are able to offer you a wide range of products thanks to the large number of technologies available to us. In addition to the synthesis of resorbable polymers, we have almost all options for polymer processing from the melt and the polymer solution at our disposal. This enables us to develop and produce high-quality absorbable and non-absorbable fibers, yarns, monofilaments, nonwovens, sheets and membranes from polymers. In combination with the established textile processes (braiding, warp knitting, weaving and knitting), we carry out developments quickly and efficiently from the molecule to the final textile product. The use of our technologies and expertise for the development and manufacture of products is also possible outside the medical sector.
